The Imps are 10.000 randomly generated, animated, 3D characters on the Ethereum blockchain. Each one is completely unique but some are more rare than others. There will be over 250 unique traits and over 30 different color palettes. Each trait is handcrafted by SuperNfty in his signature floaty style.

Their Story

In an alternate metaverse called the ether, legends hint towards the existence of 264 demi-gods, commonly illustrated as floating heads. These mischievous demi-gods hunt down and collect invisible spirits that would otherwise cause havoc throughout the metaverse. It's been generations since anyone spotted one of these 'Floating Heads', but the rumor is that they're returning. Now that the metaverse is growing fast, the flow of pesky spirits is increasing. To protect their realm, they are recruiting hunters to join the IMPS, the 'Institute for Master Pursuers of Spirits'. Will you be recruited?

  • Super Nfty Floating Heads

    The Floating Heads are a collection of 264 3D animated 1/1 NFT's handmodeled in VR. From March to September SuperNfty made one a day! They are SuperNfty's genesis collection and will always be #1 in the SuperNfty Universe.

    The Imps are aimed to launch mid December. The presale will start on December 17th at 0.03 Eth and the public sale starts on December 21st at 0.05 Eth. What are the Unlockables?

If you’re new to SuperNfty, you might be wondering “What are the 3D unlockables?”. Just as with the Floating Heads, we plan to share the files and IP-rights with our collectors! Floating Head owners can access the 3D-file, an Augmented Reality file, a webcam filter and the original video-file of their Heads. You can expect similar utilities for the IMPS!

How do you create the IMPS?

SuperNfty doesn’t only create for the metaverse, but also in the metaverse. After finishing his masters in product development in 2018, he started a Ph.D. about 3D sculpting in virtual reality (VR). SuperNfty believes that VR Aided Design has a direct influence on creativity and flow. He created both the Floating Heads and the IMPS in a VR-app called Gravity Sketch. FAQ

The first reason is because I really wanted to. I am a collectible toy artist and these past months I have been mouth-watering at other beautiful 10k projects and I really want to create my own. In many ways a 10k project is like the ‘final boss’ for collectible creators. The second, more important reason is because I want to make a sustainable way to create art for the people who believe in me early on. This is where the 'spirit hunting' mechanic would come in (if the project sells out). Basically, if Imps & Floating Heads are the trainers, the Spirits would be the PokĂ©mon. After all, to me, there’s no better feeling than opening a fresh pack of PokĂ©mon cards and seeing what I got and I'd like to replicate this experience in my own work. My vision is to create a value system where I can continue to create generations of tradeable multi-edition limited art collectibles exclusively and free for SuperNfty collectors. That’s the idea, but this doesn’t mean that I won’t do the other stuff that other big NFT projects are doing. Things I am very excited for are vinyl toys, merch and artist collaborations for example. However, I personally have a strong distaste for ‘roadmapping’ value and corporatizing NFT projects. I don’t want the IMPS to be a pump and dump and I don't want to restrict myself by making meaningless promises. I want the Imps to be priced at the value of the art, the SuperNfty community, its history and its future.

According to Google: "An imp is a European mythological being similar to a fairy or demon, frequently described in folklore and superstition." Ofcourse we'll have our own definition & lore soon.

The best way right now is to collect a previous SuperNfty NFT. By owning one of the 264 Floating Heads you will be able to mint an IMP for free. By owning one of the 3000 Superballs, you get a spot on the whitelist for the presale (at normal price).
